The framers of the Constitution intended our government to be of the people, by the people, and for the people. We now have a federal government with unrestrained powers that will use those powers against it’s citizenry if there is any threat of dimunition of those powers.
We have been warned about the threat of government run healthcare for a long time – the threat being that government run healthcare is socialism and socialism leads to communism. You may not be threatened by communism, in fact you may be a communist sympathizer, but real Americans hate the thought of communism and we will fight to the death to defeat it.
Think long and hard about that.
